My enemy is invisible.

Nameless. Faceless. Controlled. Puppets on strings. Sheep in the masses.

And I’ve turned into their number one plaything.

When I transferred to East Point Prep, I had one mission in mind: find the people responsible for murdering Magnolia. Someone within these entitled walls killed my only friend and threw her overboard like she was human trash.

Now, they’ll pay.

My best friend told me everything through weekly emails, leaving coded clues in her simple messages. I know every incident, and I have the names of her bullies—her murderers.

Seger, Chase, Zeppelin, Carter, and Ainsley.

Somehow everything gets twisted and turned around. Every piece of evidence turns to ash. Magnolia lied to me, and I have to unravel her words one piece at a time to understand the truth hidden within her code.

My pawns become my kings. The ones I once called my suspects turn into allies. They help me search for the invisible culprit slithering through the shadows.

The hunter becomes the hunted.

Edit

I tried.. I really did and you know what if this was pure revenge thriller with no romance whatsoever, I think I would have been up for it.

But how can you expect me to see some pussy ass heroes (bound by some blackmail) watch her getting bullied by the sidelines all along doing nothing and feed me the romance the next chapter ...

Yes next please

****,

And to think she would be falling for him or any other character

My face hovers above the disgusting, shit-stained toilet, with a bright yellow pee ring staining the brim. A mere inch away from my nose..

“Oh, NO! NO! Not this!” I shout,

“No more stupid fucking questions. No more stealing my shit,” he says into my ear, bringing my head back out of the water.
I gasp for air, pulling the freshness into my burning lungs. “Tread lightly, Kaycee. I know I’ve warned you before, but from here on out these games only get worse.”

pizap ❀ 𝐖𝐄𝐁 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒 ❀ Is the first full length RH bully romance book within the (Apocalypse Society) series by new to me author Aly Beck.

3 books picked up, put down, here’s hoping this one grabs my attention!

This thank god, pulled me in straight away, heart pumping, twists and turns kept me on my toes and forever guessing.

You meet eighteen year old Kaycee as she's trying to navigate a new school and get to the bottom of her best friends murder which was fabricated and marked down as suicide, Kaycee knew her friend more than anyone and knows for a fact she would never kill herself, plus how do you explain the autotosy report.

So she's on a mission to hunt for the truth. Revenge at the forefront of her mind. Kaycee has got so many layers, it was like peeling back an onion just to get to the core, she's got killer web skills and can hack into anything, but what makes her so special is that she's been diagnosed with autism. She hates to be touched, for her it feels like her body is on fire from the inside out, even clothes touching her skin can be unbearable. She attention span can be lagging at times but when she pushes through and focuses nothing can get her out of that zone, especially when it comes to numbers and delving deep into the dark web.

A killer or killers on the loose
A cult

Encrypted emails from her dead best friend were so cleverly done as we the reader was able to decipher them to read the hidden messages penned to Kaycee.

At first her harem of boys were on her radar to take down due to misguided information she'd gathered, the more time she spent with them and realised they were in her corner a strong bond developed between them all. Chase, Zepp, and Seger (twins)

But throw in 'cruel boy' Carter to the mix and it was like a lolly scramble on who I liked the most.

This had so many components to it. Who to trust, who to fear, who were the masked unknowns, what was their end game, who was her online male friend, who killed her best friend? So many open ended scenarios as we like Kaycee played true detective.

I didn’t know what to expect from this book but it was freaking fantastic. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down.

It’s a high school bully RH with so much happening behind the scenes you just want to keep reading to find out what happens next.

You meet Kaycee who joins a new school trying to find her best friends killer. I thought there was something unique about Kaycee and when I found out she had autism it made complete sense. I love her character, how her brain works and takes things in, her comments that come out of nowhere had me laughing so much.

Kaycee then becomes the schools new play thing and is targeted by bullies but there is a much bigger game at play. However is true Kaycee style she takes them on and keeps fighting.

Her harem of men are 🥵 Zepp especially, I just love him 🖤

This is a slow burn with lots of tension but when the spice hits its sooooo good. Single POV except 1 chapter near the end.

The different with this book is the email chapters between Kaycee and her best friend. There is secret messages which you have to decipher which was awesome and so creative.

I am going to cry now though as it ended with a 💥 and I need to know what happens next.

1 of my fave reads this year by far and deserves way more than 5 ⭐️

This was a fucking joke y'all istfg🤡 The MCs were immature asf and the writing was just straight up cringey. I tried to get into it. I really did. But I just couldn't lmao. Everything was such a mess even though the plot and overall premise had so much potential. Like you're actually telling me that 18 year olds act this stupid??? Girl please don't gimme that bullshit, I was 18 myself a year ago and I can def confirm that no 18 year old acts that idiotic. They're def smarter than Miss Kaycee and her harem lol. Also the fact that Magnolia kept telling Kaycee about the bullying but Kaycee did nothing. And now suddenly you want vengeance after she's dead??? Make it make sense boo😀💀 Anyways, I def won't be reading the remaining books in the series because I'm not invested nor interested enough to find out about Magnolia's actual killer lmao BYEEEEEE👋🏻

I didn't know what to expect from this book but holy hell none of my expectations were anything close to what actually happened. I don't think I've ever given a book that ends on a cliffhanger 5 stars before, and this may even be my first 5 stars of the year, but it deserves it. The story had me so intrigued and dying to find out so many answers. I almost took a day off of work just so I could stay up all night and day to continue this story and I really would have done that if I could. As it is, I definitely stayed up too late reading on to the 2nd book. I can't wait to get back to it and find out what else will happen.

Tropes: Bullying, enemies to lovers, friends to bullies to lovers (weird I know), reverse harem (why choose)

This plot is similar to Ruthless Boys by Caroline Peckham and Suzanne Valenti, where someone gets murdered and it gets staged as a suicide and FMC goes to investigate, but in this case it's in high school. Similarly, to RB, there are four love interests, two are twins (Seger and Zepp), one is basically like a golden retriever kind of Leon vibes (Chase), and one who is basically her enemy until he isn't (Carter). The FMC (Kaycee) is basically a computer genius and has an anonymous online best friend (Tristian). And there's a girl who gives me Geraldine vibes from Zodiac Academy. (Piper)

There were times where I did like the writing and sometimes I didn't. Like the author tried to write the characters to be quirky, and sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. Although, this wasn't a deterrent from the entire book. There is more plot than romance, but there is romance/spice, but it takes a while so like a medium/slow burn. I did really like the plot, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds along with the romance.

The prologue broke my heart to see Magnolia's POV (the victim), even her emails broke my heart. This author included something different which I really liked; she put a secret code in Magnolia's emails to Kaycee. I swear every time I put it together, my heart kept breaking.

Favorite quotes/scenes:

-"There is no way in hell I'm frolicking in a meadow, I mean, who does that? What does frolicking entail? She's definitely cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs."

-"Woo me."
"Woo you? Like, woo you, romance you, type shit?" (Chase)
"Sure, if that's how you interpret it."
"Wait—I—I don't know how."
"Figure it out, Chris. You got this. If I really am worth it."
What could be interpreted as a sinister smile slides across my face. Now all I need is the evil laugh. Bwahaha- oh! Focus!

-"Be careful with him."
"Who?"
"Chase."
"Chase loves hard, Kaycee. So be careful with him because from where I stand, Chase is already head over heels for you."
" I don't understand. I've only been here for a week. How can he?"
"Sweet, sweet, Kaycee. He doesn't need an enormous amount of time to fall for you. Who wouldn't?" (Zepp)

-"Zepp reigns my mind in. Chase makes me smile. Seger makes me laugh too. He fights for me, plots with me. They protected me when danger lurked."

-"If my father can't fix this situation, he's going to pull me."
"Fuck that. If all four of us, gang up on him, it'll be impossible. Besides, I'll lock you in my secret basement and never let you go.
"Secret basement, huh?"
"Yeah—secret, hence why I've never shown you. If that big bad world thinks he's about to come take my lamb away, he's in for a world of pain." He doesn't waste a second tossing me over his shoulder before I can protest.
"Seger!"
"Secret basement, babe, it's time."

-"I can't leave them—my boys. I only just found them. They're like the missing puzzle pieces to my life, finally finding their spots."

-Chase: Have no fear boyfriend number 1 is here.
Seger: Who tf said you are number one?
Chase: Says me...considering I'm staying.
Seger: Baby, sort this out. Who is number 1?
Kaycee: Yeah—I'm not answering that.

-"You know what I can't figure out?" (Carter)
"What's that?"
"Why, you're always inside my fucking head. Every fucking move I make, you're there. Those big, beautiful blue, fuck-me eyes staring back at me. I can't get you out of my fucking head."
"What're you trying to say?"
"Exactly what I fucking said."
"What if I said I think about you, too? That kiss? Your lips."
"Then I'd you're a stupid fucking bitch."
"Then I'm a stupid fucking bitch. So just kiss me already."

I just finished Web of Lies after receiving it this morning as an ARC reader.

I was totally hooked with this story. The premise of the book is my favorite - Revenge! My heart was pounding with the excitement, fear and suspense that this story put me through.

I enjoyed how the author was able to juggle the many facets of this story. From the Maggie’s to Kaycee’s storylines. When I would take a short break from reading, my mind would process what I had read and tried to anticipate what would happen next. I love that in a book.

It was great to read a book that brought the Autism world to life and presented the brillance and struggles of this developmental disability.

I am so excited to read book 2! I can’t wait to hear more about Tristan!!!

I love a good reverse harem book & I enjoy a mystery read - what happens when you combine the 2?

*Web of Lies has entered the chat*

I was so excited to do an ARC read for this, & then stunned to realize this is @authoralybeck ‘s first book. 😱 Reminded me a bit of Hannaford Prep by @jbreeauthor which I love 😍

This is a slow burn reverse harem with 𝙷𝙸𝙳𝙳𝙴 𝙼𝙴𝚂𝚂𝙰𝙶𝙴𝚂 to decode throughout the book that helps in the mystery our girl Kaycee has landed herself in.

The CLIFFHANGER about killed me & I am excited/really needing the second book ASAP. Can’t lie. This will be live ℕ𝕠𝕧 𝟙𝟘 - run, don’t walk, to pre-order & add to your TBR!

Thank you Aly Beck for sending me an ARC of this book!

4.5 ⭐️
Wow. This was a twisted high school bully reverse harem romance. The book follows Kaycee as she sets out her revenge plan on the people who murdered her best friend. However, as time goes on and secrets are revealed, the people she suspected became her biggest allies.

I absolutely loved the hidden code in Magnolia’s emails to Kaycee. It added a whole new level of secrecy in the story line, where there was already a lot. Some of the things that happened to both Magnolia and Kaycee is really messed up, and I couldn’t believe a lot of it.

The harem though!!! Oh my god I loved Chase, Zepp, and Seger so much! And I cannot wait for the fourth to add themselves into the harem. Carter is definitely the dark brooding bad boy they need. These guys were consent kings and always provided her with aftercare and love. While they were so sweet, they were definitely dirty too 😉. I really enjoyed how all their relationships all came together.

Now the ending of this book! C’mon!! I cannot wait to read book two and not only get more information on the people set out to hurt Kaycee and murdered Magnolia, but to see who Tristan is!!! I can’t believe that was the ending because it was a cliff hanger on more than one end. I need the information now!!!

PLEASE remember this is a dark bully romance so understand this is 18+ and to check TWs.

Honestly I wouldn't call this a romance since it only started at 67% of the book. So don't expect any romance other than some rh action. But expect a lot of plot about bullying and getting revenge.

Also since it's in a high school, the way the kids talk is a little childish and annoying but I think that is expected of almost every high school book.

I care too much about the damn code that needed deciphering than the book itself so I'm going to try and solve it but otherwise I'm not continuing this series, I'm not really interested about what happens next.

Wow! What a wild ride, thanks so much Aly for giving me an ARC copy... if this is your introduction to the literary world, I cannot wait to read more of your books!!
I could not put this book down, so much intrigue, why's, how's, who's!!!! I'd love a twin sandwich myself!
Having a FMC whose so bad ass, representing the autistic community was a breath of fresh air. I love me a broody bad boy, a sweet 'all American boy', a tattooed jock and a strong quiet type... we get them all in this book!!!
So.... wanna send me a SUPER ARC of the second book now? (You have my email 😉)

Obsessed. I’ve just read the ARC of this and holy s*** balls, I need book 2.

So this is a dark high school bully romance. Kaycee is looking for answers and revenge after he best friend Magnolia is murdered. This book keeps you guessing there’s so many twists and turns that you don’t expect, it’s the plot that keeps on giving. When it got spicy it was HOT.

Kaycee is a badass, I love that she just f***ing owns who she is! There’s so much depth to her character and I loved getting to know her and her friendship/love for magnolia through the pages of this story.

Then of course we have our boys, every harem has its golden retriever energy ray of sunshine and that’s the lovely Chase, then there is Seger the resident flirty bad boy with a dirty mouth, his twin Zeppelin the quiet genius, and finally Carter the broody dark alphahole.

I loved the relationship growth between them all and how respectful and mindful they were of Kaycee and her quirks.

Yeah I can’t really fault it I just need answers! I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

I’m new to reading reverse harems and after reading Web of Lies, I’m definitely hooked and it’s one of my new favorite tropes!

Kaycee transferred to her new school to find out the mystery behind her best friend’s death because… it was no accident! All she has go off of are the emails Magnolia sent her and five distinct names mentioned several times throughout.

As her investigation progresses she ends up with more questions than answers. Things aren’t adding up and suddenly she’s public enemy number one. On top of that, she’s falling and falling hard for a few of the main men on campus. When things start to get really bad, can she rely on them to help her with mission? Or are they truly the culprits they were made out to be?

It is book one of three, so there is a cliffhanger!

Web of Lies is absolutely incredible!!! I can’t rave about it enough!!! The amount of thought, time and effort put into the plot and storyline of this book is amazing! That secret code… genius!!! While it may be a slow burn, it had me addicted from the start! Web of Lies is MUST read of 2021! It’s one of my absolute favorite books this year!

AMAZING! Top read for 2021

This book was freaking fantastic!
It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was such a different and unique story line, I cant even stop thinking about it. That ending though....like really, your going to do that to me!? 🤯

This book fell straight to one of my top 5 books for 2021. IIt was THAT good!
The author incorporated these secret messages that the reader had to decode and I freaking lloved it. I felt like I was my oown detective right along side Kaycee.. 😂
*************

Kaycee is starting her senior year at a new school. With a new year, its supposed to bring excitement and butterflies....only Kaycee is on a mission. Junior year, her friend fell vvictim to this school and even though the autopsy claimeed suicide, Kaycee knows different. With her impeccable hacking/computer skills, Kaycee is on a mission to find out what happened with her bestt friend, Magnolia. Thhey emailed constantly back and forth with Magnolia telling KC what was happening. Kaycee has her suspects and has searched every thing about theiir life and background she could. But after figuring out Magnolia was using a code in her emailss, everything Kaycee thought she knew is turned upside down.

When KC finds herself in the same situation at Magnolia, puzzles pieces start to click in place. Only the puzzle just keeps getting bigger and bbigger and she's really noo closer to finding any answers she was in the beginning. Chase, Zeppelin, Seger... the foorbidden yet deliciously handsome boys who Kaycee doesn't really kknow and yet has a connection to them like no other. 🥵Carter, brooding bad boy, anger issues so intense, they can make you cry from sight alone, but oh so delicious. Piper, the over-exuberant cheerleader with more secrets than Fort Knox.... Theirs so many suspects and so many questions. Can Kaycee find answers, can she find love when she's running for her life and constantly being watched? 👀

***********
I seriously could not get enough of this book! I loved everything about it. I thought I knew who "Tristan" was, but I'm really not sure anymore. Everything you think you know...you question it... I feel like everything we think we know, is wrong. Whos a friend? Whos a foe? Ughhhhh. I cant wait for book 2! Also, the secret code...it was so different and unlike anything I've read before. I really enjoyed having to solve the puzzle. So many questions need answered and I am here for it.

This was this author's debut novel! I am blown away. It was amazing!!!!!!! I will definitely be following this author and I cant wait for more stories. I would read anything she puts out.

PS - Can you find my hidden message in my review - because I'm obsessed with what the author did. 😂😉😉

*Overall 5/5
*Slow burn - 60ish% "the deed - 94ish%"
*Heat? Lots of lust but then finally towards the end, it was an inferno. End of book heat 4/5. Really wanting those moments to last a little longer..
*MFMM Romance - opportunity for MFMMM romance. (No MM)
*Decoding Hidden Messages
*HEA? No! Cliffhanger 😭

This was a solid read! I enjoyed the mystery aspect of it and the secret code was sneaky but great to decode.

I liked the fmc. For the most part she was smart and tough. Sometimes I didn’t like how lusty she felt toward the guys, in the beginning especially when she still thought of them as suspects. She is on the autism spectrum which i liked reading about, and she doesn’t like touch, and so i felt it was a bit too sudden that their touch didn’t bother her at all. I would’ve appreciated a bit more reasoning and build up on that end (since she doesn’t even like her family touching her.)

I don’t particularly like in RH (especially high school) when the guys have shared before (i like the fmc to be their first and the exception), and three of the guys here do always share. There is one of their exes who bullies the fmc around. The guys don’t care for her so i wouldn’t say OW drama as much as just mean girl drama.

I will say that I didn’t really like that one of the guys suffers from depression and at one time does not want to get out of bed, but as soon as she shows up he’s seemingly fine.

There’s a lot of build up in this one with the mystery and not many answers yet, but it worked well to really establish everything.

Overall a solid read! Can’t wait for book 2.

Well, the title of this book delivers!!!
Throughout the whole read I'm constantly on edge wondering who I could really trust!

We followed Kaycee as she starts senior year at East Point Prep for one sole reason - to find who killed her best friend, Magnolia. Its been closed as suicide but she knows this isn't true and takes it upon herself to ferret out the real murderer.

She has emails from Maggies time there, that are also revealed in between chapters for us, which gives her clues as to who she can trust, but is it who she thinks??!!

She plays an online video game, where she met her online buddy Tristan but she gave her middle name, Addi.  They keep things vague but yet in other ways detailed. He helps her keep calm and with bits of advice.

She's a whizz at computers and hacking. She needs to be after so many incidents occur she sets up a camera in her room. But the headmaster still blames her accusing her of photoshopping pics!

The most handy of her tricks has to be the mirroring of phones and picking locks. I'll leave that there!!

It's weird but just a few days after starting there, things go bad. Initially  friends Chase, Seger and Zeppelin welcome her and Chase actually woos her...but a big red x on her door and the whole school turns against her.

"Cruel" Carter seems to delight in leading alot of the bullying....but is he hiding something more?

She finally gets some allies that don't mind people knowing they're on her side. It helps in times when she needs an extra set of eyes or hands.

Ooh how could I forget to mention that it's an RH?? And even tho Kaycee is a virgin, the girl isn't afraid to say what she wants or feels!

There's so much going on and as the book continues bit by bit is revealed and I'm really trying not to give anything away!!

There's so many Twists and you are always wondering if Kaycee can really trust that person.

With the cliffhanger....I'd had a hunch that that would happen and I have a feeling I know who it is, especially with their knowledge!!

Roll on book two!! Am interested to find out who the main players turn out to be!!

Web of Lies by Aly Beck ☆☆☆☆

'𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐦𝐞, 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐬. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐈'𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧-𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐲.'

Finally a book that got me out of my DNF slump.

When Kaycee's bestfriend Magnolia goes off to a prep school and ends up getting murdered which according to everyone else is a suicide. Kaycee decides to transfer there to see what really happened to Magnolia. Armed with a list of suspects she decides to investigate them, but are the suspects really who they say they are?

First off, I ADORED Kaycee, the bully she went through was tough as hell and I felt for her, but what she got, she dished right back out in the form of hacking. I love a girl whose not scared to be a genius, and she's a gamer too? My perfect girl.

I love her guys too, I'm not going to mention them as I don't want to ruin anything, but right now it's tough to pick a favourite.

This book is giving me ANXIETY though because I literally do not know who to trust. I'm straight off to download the next one!

Also proud of myself because I worked out the code😏

I absolutely loved this book. From the first chapter, the intrigue and mystery pulled you into the story. Add in a secret, hidden code that you, as the reader, get to crack and some seriously attentive and attractive love interests... Well, let's just say that I didn't get any sleep until the last page.

Kaycee is a strong FMC that I wish I had her as my own best friend. The way she thinks, handles herself and calmly goes through her emotions... Even in the scariest of moments - she is honest #goals. I swear I'm even going to frame something she said in the book.

I can't wait to see her solve her best friend's murder mystery and get the happy ever after she deserves with these men of hers. This first book was incredible and makes a person really excited for the next one!

No. Nope. It can’t end like that, I wasn’t ready. I need the second book NOW.

Wow. Web of Lies is Aly Beck’s debut novel? Unbelievable. This slow-burn, dark, twisted, reverse harem high school bully romance was insane. It was unputdownable good.

Did I mention there’s a secret code??? Like what? Who thinks of that? As a reader, having to crack that code made the experience of this book all the more enjoyable.

I loved the mystery, intrigue, suspense, and secrets as Kaycee delves deeper into the mystery surrounding her best friend’s murder. Kaycee’s character was phenomenal. She’s strong, loyal, fierce, unique, and one of my favorite FMCs ever.

This book was addicting! That cliffhanger though; it left me wanting to toss my kindle against the wall. I NEED book 2!!!

Had me hooked from the very beginning

A friend of mine had suggested I read this book and told me a little bit about the interactive aspects of it. I immediately put it on my short list and started it that night.

This book was everything I needed and more. I love the plot, the characters, and loved the secret codes throughout. It got me super excited to read and trying to figure out the code, as well as trying to figure out all the mystery aspects of it. I seriously sat there with a piece of paper and was jotting down notes.

I fell in love with Kaycee. I thought she was an exceptional FMC and the more I read, the more I fell in love with her. I also loved the twins and Chase and was super intrigued by them throughout the book.

I cannot wait to read the next book and to continue trying to figure out what is going on. This book was exceptional and I definitely recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I knew I would either love this or hate it, based off the reviews. The beginning was a little jumbled and immature, and I almost dropped it. I’m so glad I decided to hold on for a bit. The mystery has me in a chokehold. So many moving parts to this story, and I’m trying to figure out how everything and everyone is connected. I predicted the twist at the end, and early on I figured out who Tristan was, so I’m excited for the next book to see if I’m correct. I wish some of the chapters weren’t so long, though.

That ending was not ok! I loved decoding the messages and everything but let me tell you! If I didn't need my phone for work and to communicate with kids teachers I would have thrown it across the room!! I'm literally 😳😲 like WTF, what did you just put me through? That ending like.....fuck I'm broken and can't speak!😬🤣 this book was amazing!!

Oh. My. God. What crazy journey did I just go on? This story follows Kacee through her senior year of high school as she tries to figure out who murdered her best friend and covered it up. Let me tell you… I wasn’t sure about this book at the beginning just because some of the love interests *cough* Chase *cough* get interested and doe eyed real fast (I’m more of a slow burn kinda gal) BUT I WAS WRONG. this book definitely builds and builds. There were a few things I predicted kind of early on that I was right about, but there were several things I didn’t see coming. This one ends in a bang! Meaning a nasty cliffhanger. I about cried when I read book 2 isn’t out until October 2022. I also just love how real the main character is. She is Autistic and just fully embraces it proudly. Her inner monologue and ramblings are quite entertaining and add a good comedic relief. This book is heavy on the bullying, but most of it isn’t at the hand of her boys.

This was brilliant!! I loved it! It got my brain working trying to work out who the fmc could trust and who she couldn’t 😁. When reading this book make sure you have a pen and paper handy, you’ll see why when you start reading 😉. Bring on book 2!!

*ARC review*

4.5 stars 🌟! Wow, what a ride! The premise of this book instantly got my attention, and from the first chapter I was hooked!

I think Kaycee is one of my favorite FMCs. She’s strong, loyal, and a fighter. After losing her best friend, she’s on a mission to uncover the secrets and reasons for her best friend’s murder. She doesn’t back down, even after several try to get in her way. So many questions are left unanswered, though I have some guesses to the answers. Sadly, I need to wait for book 2 to find out.

The spice🌶 in this book is *chef’s kiss* and I can’t wait for more in book two. Hoping a certain someone officially joins her harem 🥵

I really enjoyed this read, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This book was so good. Kaycee wants to know what really happened to her friend. She thinks she knows who murdered her friend but not everything is how it seems. She had to find out who she could trust and who were enemies before it was too late. I loved Kaycee and I liked her guys too. Can't wait to read next book because I wanna get some answers.

Thank you Aly Beck for sending me this ARC. It was my first ever ARC and WOO!! What a ride!! This was my first bully romance and jeez it had me eating the book up and also throwing it across the room in frustration! It brought out so many different emotions in me but i LOVED it!!

This reverse harem had a perfect mix of everything. Also can we talk about our consent kings?! I’ve never seen guys ask for consent every single time, it was amazing. The murder mystery in the book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The hidden code in her emails were genius! I’ve never read a book with a secret code and it made me feel like i was right there in the book with them.

But the cliffhanger?! Aly you’re killing me! I’m gonna need to read the second one right when it’s drafted LOL! Seriously an amazing suspense book that everyone needs to check out.
