Xanthe and Blaise are back! *happy dance*

In Broken Doll, LJ Findlay takes us on an adventure across Europe, where we get to find out just what these two were up to after Xanthe kidnapped Blaise.

I'm not going to lie, there were times that I seriously wanted to strangle Xanthe. I do understand that her thought processes were affected by the abuse she suffered, so I managed to keep my hands firmly off her throat when she was being particularly obtuse. The one thing I love about LJ's characters is how realistic they are. She doesn't shy away from giving them flaws and all - it just makes you love them more.

The last third of the book really picks up with lots going on, and I found myself anxiously wanting to find out what would happen. My dark little heart cheered loudly at one point, and I might have sniffled a bit at the epilogue.

Is this the end of the Queens of Chaos? LJ is a bit of a tease at the end...either way, I'll look forward to whatever she's cooking up next.

Where do I start with how much I loved Broken Doll?
Of course, this will be an extra spoiler free review as I don't want to give too much away before it's even out!

Blaise and Xanthe continue their whirlwind romance in this book and I loved that we got to see more of their personalities in this. They both continue to be chaotic, intense and yep, they still can't keep their hands off each other. So much happens in this book, that it's just one hell of a ride and honestly, you won't want to put it down.

Also, I will forever love how extra dramatic and over the top Xanthe can be.

This book takes place after Queens Of Chaos 2, so make sure you check out the first two books so that the story will make sense! You definitely won't want to miss out on this!!

It certainly feels like I haven't left Xanthe and Blaise' side since we left them in, the transition from Beautiful Fool was flawless and shows just had well written this series has been.

These two cant keep their hands off each other! The sexy scenes where out of this world and had me panting for the next one. Blaise is such a dominant asshole but he wouldn't be him without this trait, he pushes Xanthe to do what she wants to do because of how much faith he has in her. He gives her the confidence she needs to take her life in her own hands. Xanthe is the one to show Blaise that he doesn't always need to be on guard, that he can let his walls down with her, be vulnerable and she wont be going anywhere. These two are the definition of Yin and Yang.

We find out a lot of information about the guys and The Club, which has really helped to answer some of my questions that I had running rampant in my head. We start to understand why they are the way they are and you cant fault them for it.

Every single character has their own flaws and they will have to band together to take on their enemies. With twists and trials that seem to pop up at every turn the gang takes and you never know how it will play out, you just have to buckle up and hope we get through the crazy ride.

This book starts right where Gemma’s book ended and we find out what Xanthe and Blaise have been up to while on a run!
Their chemisty is even hotter than before but, being on a run, there was also lots of tension between them. They both had their doubts but at the same time, being together on that crazy adventure helped them grow and develop their relationship.
And as much as Xanthe frustrated me by being reckless and overly dramatic, I couldn’t help but love her character. She was flawed but that’s what made her so real and easy to connect with.

The second part has whole gang together trying to come up with a plan to deal with The Club.
I loved scenes with all of them together. Despite tension and bickering, they soon realized there is strength in numbers and as long as they stick together they can overcome everything. That last part was one wilde ride that will keep you glued to your reader!

It was bittersweet seeing Xanthe and Blaise’s story end but I’m sure we’ll see them in future Queens of Chaos books. Noelle and her guys were great and I can’t wait to see what Laura has in store for them!

Amazing/Hot/Twisted and Dark

We start on with were we are left of in book 2 Beautiful fool it was so smooth that I felt like I had just finished book 2 and continue with book 3.

Xanthe is deep in her thoughts about each of her friends and what had happen in the time she was gone. She is analyzing everything to know were she is standing on. She was surprise with all of the things that have change in the time her and Blaise were away.

I love that both of them are doubting them self and that is so real is no like they run away and everything is perfect. NOPE they have real problems figuring out what they want and if they are the best for each other. Also they are fuck up both of them. So is hard for them be on a level were they are both confortable. Because of their background and lack of healty love and structure they are navigating their life and freedom and is very new for them and this can make them fall apart.

In this book we see a different side of Xanthe and in a way she remminds me a bit of Gemma only that Gemma wears her feelings and everyone can see them and Xanthe has a wall to protect them but in the inside she is needy and need Blaise afirmation and need to feel that everything she did was worth it. She doubts her self a lot and she is always questioning her decisions. Which is really real and it help a lot to conect with her character.
In the first book we get this broken girl that is trying to find her way to freedom and in this book is this girl how is free but finding her way to love.

They both lived in a world were nothing was entirely yours or real I think that's why they didn't take their love for granted and they new that what they had it could come to an end. That's why they always reassure each other they love them. Most of the time they say I'm yours you are mine or I love you. They need that to be relax. And to now that they always have the other backs.
"Alia iacta est"

The sex was fire and I loved how needy they are with each other they can't have their hands away of each other. They are the perfect toxic duo. Blaise was so dominant but at the same time he encorage Xanthe to be herself and get to decide what she wants to do and make her part of his life. He can be an asshole but he is Xanthe's asshole and he gives her the push to be as free as she can be and that gives her more confidence in her self. In the other hand Xanthe shows Blaise another world where he can be him self and be loved and love and be vulnerable and have all the thing he wants without being a piece in a game. I loved a lot that we get to see much more of their feeling individualy and for each other  both of them are not people that open up quickly but to each other they are very open and they find away to conect in a deeper level that they had in the past. I love them so much. They are perfectly imperfect for each other. They may not be broken but together they make a whole.

I really like that even though Xanthe and Blaise are the main character's in this book we get a lot of the others and that combined help a lot to the development of the story. We get a lot of background of the guys and The Club and is very helpful to see that side of the guys and why they want to change and leave all the things they had to do behind.

This book was a lot, every turn and twist was so well played that I didn't see it coming. I has like oh this is going to happen and then out of nowhere something that I didn't expect happened. It was amazing and it got me on the edge with heart palpitation and anxiety. I was omg whats going to happen it was a lot. They get a lot of test and a lot of things happen that test the group and their limits and it was hell of a ride.

At the end all of them are broken they are perfectly broken pieces of different puzzles but when they come together they made this amazingly beautiful and colorful new puzzle but most importantly together they are complete.

I love them all too much. 🖤

Another amazing installment!

We hop straight back in where book 2 left off, and the first part of the book we find out what Xanthe and Blaise got up to after she'd kidnapped him, and it certainly wasn't a fairy tale! They're both agitated and jittery, understandably, and they only have each other to take it out on, so there's lots of tense moments while they're on the run. But it was also lovely to see them grow as a couple!

The thing I love most about LJ's characters is that she isn't afraid to give them faults, and that just makes them so much more relatable. Xanthe makes some silly decisions during their time on the road, but it just makes things even more believable!

The second part of the book has the gang back together again in Cornwall trying to figure out a plan of action. The Club isn't about to stand down easily and they need to stick together, but again tensions are high which causes bickering between them, which again makes things more believable!

So can they all put their differences aside and stick together to being down The Club? You're going to have to read to find out for yourself 😏

The angst and action in this book (especially in the last third) had me on the edge of my seat and I had no idea what the outcome was going to be!

I hope we see more from the gang because I feel like I'm a part of them, I can see a part of myself in both Xanthe and Gemma so I think it's only fair we get to have a peek inside Noelle's mind! And I'm desperate to find out how her relationships are going to end up!

Thank you LJ for another thrilling ride! 🖤

Oh gosh, where do I begin…

We’re back with our Queens and back to the hotness that is Blaise and Xanthe. Even on the run, these two have insane fire that burns from the tips of their toes to the tops of their heads.

Since the beginning of this series, their chemistry has been wild and Laura gives us so much more! We learn so much about both of them and they don’t disappoint.

From beginning to end, this is a wild adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat and having all the feels. With this much fire, there’s bound to be some burns along the way.

The group’s together again and well…we all know that it’s not always rainbows and sunshine. But, this group is incredibly special! Laura has a way of making you want to jump right in and be right smack in the middle of this Chaos!

Love my Alpha King and my forever dramatic but completely lovable Queen!

Can’t wait to see what’s up Laura’s sleeve next!!

Broken Doll is the third book in the Queens of Chaos series and my favorite so far. With each book this series keeps getting better and better and I'm really looking forward to seeing what will happen next.

This time around we are back with Xanthe and Blaise, this book filled all the gaps between book 1 and 2 when it comes to this couple and we still got to see what happened after the end of the last book. Their story is as usual super intense, chaotic and fun to read. This book starts a bit slow but it soon picks up the pace and from there the story took a lot of turns. Xanthe and Blaise had a lot going on with where they found themselves at the end of Little Doll and with the whole club plot that keeps developing more with each book.

I loved Blaise in the first book and in this one I liked him even more. We got to know him and his past better and it's amazing to see how devoted and in love with Xanthe he is. Now, when it comes to her I have mixed feelings, I love or hate her depending on the scene lol. She can be so frustrating and some of her actions can get me so mad but that goes to show that she is flawed like everyone else, she is human and makes mistakes and I like how she isn't afraid to own up to them.

Like all the books, my favorite part is seeing all the gang together partying and having fun even when their whole world is falling apart. Their friendship is so strong and they do go through so much together. Noelle was always one of the most intriguing characters to me so I can't wait to know more about her story along with the guys. I'm looking forward to the next book.

The final book of the Queens of Chaos, and its crazy and intense. So we go back to Xanthe and Blaise's story. So you know that Xanthe started a chain of events in the first book. She kidnapped Blaise at the end right. So we finally get to find out what happened with them while Gemma was dealing with everything back home with Bastian. So you think that Xantha would have grown a back bone and thought through things. I was expecting her to grow as a character and do what needs to be done but alas she barely sprouted. There was a lot of shaking my head but hey her character made the story flow. Then we have Blaise who keeps saying we are not safe. So they are on the run until they get to a vineyard. Here we see them getting to know each other and come to conclusion that these two definitely need each to grow into the people they want to. However, the club and Zander are not letting them go. The whole story builds and then the insanity begins. I was proud of Xanthe at the end who took charge and was not about to give up. Does it all end for them and their friends? Will they be able to breath and not worry. We end on a good note and happily for now. Anything can happen so we will wait and see.

Another thrilling installment of Queens of Chaos! Like every one before, there were some moments when I wanted to reach through and grab the fmc and shake her. She makes some careless decisions and can be a bit over the top at times, but this makes her very relatable.

Since the end of book 1, I have been anxious to see what went on from the time that Xanthe kidnapped Blaise and when everyone was together at the end of book 2. There's a lot of tension between Xanthe and Blaise, which just gives you all this build up until it explodes. These two have so much chemistry and have since they first met.

Although tensions are running high in the group when they come back together to take down The Club, but they must stick together to accomplish their goal. This story in the last 30ish% of the book became this wild ride of what is going to happen next. I was on the edge of my seat and was reading as fast as I could.

Even though it seems like we may be at an end, we have been teased with more. I can't wait for more Queens of Chaos and definitely can't wait to dive into Noelle's mind (looks like it may be a duet 👀👀) Also, pretty excited for the future projects that are planned!

I have eagerly been awaiting the third book in the Queen of Chaos series!! I really wanted to know what took place after Xanthe kidnapped Blaise and it was so good having them back in the story and finally finding everything out!! Xanthe is one of those characters that you love BUT she can also drive you completely crazy at times, her chemistry sizzled with Blaise, they really are perfect for each other!!

I just loved the way all of these characters are broken in some way, that their lives are far from perfect, and how together they can achieve anything...there was so much angst and action in this book, especially towards the end......it was quite simply brilliant!!

I cannot wait for whatever LJ gives us next...im sure its going to be just as amazing!!!

Broken Doll, Queens of Chaos 3, was like reading a fast paced action movie with all the smutt you could want!!!

Remember Xanthe and Blaise, well they’re back and have tons of things to work on. Not only as individuals, but also as a team. Xanthe will make you want to poke her in the eyeballs and Blaise will make you pant and drool.

Later on they meet back up with the rest of the gang and the action continues. Everyone is growing into their own and I love seeing how they have all come along since book one.

LJ’s first series and she did an amazing job with plot, character building and steam.

Big fat recommendation if that’s how you like your romance reads.

And the adventure continues...... Actually not a continues but more of a filler. We find out how Xanthe and Blaise got along during the "Great Abduction". Can their love withstand life on the run, did Xanthe do the right thing in her reckless decision to save Blaise from The Club and their farces of their engagements? In this 3rd installment we flash to how these two reckless lovers overcame their lust and find an everlasting love.
We also find out more about the dynamics of this crew of misfits (I'm speaking of the girls, lol) and their band of merry men.
There is Drama, Love, Action, Adventure and WTH! So much to digest in this lovely little book, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

We pick up where we left off from book 2. Only now we get to follow Xanthe and Blaise again. They have a wild adventure across Europe
Xanthe definitely had her moments where youre like ugh why did she do that, I know what she went thru but still, some of her choices are just crazy. I still love her tho and her whole character. I also wanted to smack Blaise a few times too, but to me thats what makes a good book, you get invested in the characters.
this was the perfect ending to the series.

I can't get enough of Xanthe, Gemma and Noelle, they have certainly changed the lives of Blaise, Ludo, Damien and Bastian. Xander is now out for blood and the return of his Little Doll. Gripping edgy stuff that make an amazing read. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Blaise and Xanthe are back and we get to find out what happened after Xanthe did you know what!!!

I forgot how much of a roller coaster Xanthe and Blaises relationship is.

Was their times I wanted to throttle the girl? Yes. But at the same time did I understand what she was going through as I've debated ruining a good thing before.

I loved the whole gang being back together after being separated for so long! It's interesting how the dynamic of their relationships has changed yet somehow is the same as it was in book one.

Awesome read

The world LJ has created of a secret society is such a fascinating one and the characters are all fabulously written. They are real in both their strengths and weaknesses. Times I wanted to bop Xanthe on the head LOL I hope we see more books with some of the other characters. Awesome read.

Amazing

This book was amazing, just like the entire series. Findlay gives more Xanthe and Blaise that we all wanted. This book helps in connecting the storylines together while following their love story. It also lets us see more of the group dynamic while sitting at the edge of our seats.
I can’t wait for the next book!
