One decision is all it took. One small moment in time and everything changed.

All my life Blade and Zeke have tried to protect that small shine of innocence within me, keeping me in their shadows.
Well now it's gone.
Taken from me.
Ripped away piece by piece until the darkness took over and created a monster they will come to fear.

I never thought I would feel the need for revenge, that's more Blade and Zeke's idea of fun.
But when your choices are taken away and you become the source of entertainment, to be used as they see fit.
Revenge is the only option left.
Now they will pay for what they have done.

The hunt begins.

***Please be advised.
Bloodshed is darker and has more triggering content than Bloodlust.

Bloodlust may have left us on a cliffhanger, but Bloodshed gives us the conclusion we were waiting for.

I already loved Zeke and Ash in the first book, and of course loved them even more in this one. Zeke and Ash are determined to give Charli what she needs, and it's clear that she needs the both of them.

Zeke may have spent his life protecting Charli, but after everything that's happened he now knows that it's time for their relationship to become what it was always meant to be. He's a very protective, overbearing alpha mixed with a little crazy (aka my type of "hero"), so it isn't always easy for Charli but trust me, it's worth it 🔥 🥵

Ash is equally hot, but understands that Charli can't be caged. I loved that he's a tough biker who has a soft spot for his girl, but at the same time is protective and a bad@$$. Combine that with how he handles himself in the bedroom... 🔥 🥵

So needless to say, Charli is very satisified (at least when it comes to her love life). But of course, given everything she's been through, its no surprise that the Charli we see in this book is darker than the Charli we saw in book one. We already knew she was tough but this book really showed me a side of her I wasn't expecting.

Can't wait to read future books involving some side characters and I loved and how naturally the continuation of Blade, Harley and Axel's story is woven within this one.

Bloodshed is the final book in the Underground Affliction Duet and is a dark MFM romance.

There are some really dark themes within this book so please check the Trigger Warnings before reading.

This book throws you straight back in where Bloodlust ended, but this book focuses mostly on Charli, Zeke and Ash's POVs.

Charli was the more reserved member of The Underground in the first book, however we see her come into her own in this one after suffering at the hands of Peter and the Diamond Ring.

After she befriends another captive and learns that Blade is also a captive, she vows to protect her this time and starts to make a plan to escape. Which also includes a kill list of those that hurt her.

We also see her trying to navigate a relationship with Zeke and Ash as she tries to heal from her ordeal and cross the names off her list.

This book covers some extremely hard hitting subjects and was extremely well written. The plot was fast paced with plenty of action and gore and I loved the chemistry between the characters.

This book picks up right where Bloodlust left off and the action and intensity stays strong throughout the book.

Charli is a lot more than you’d expect from her in book one. She goes through so much but comes out swinging. I loved her tenacity and how she stayed true to herself.

Ash is such a sweetheart. His surprises for Charli are so thoughtful and not what you’d expect from a gruff biker.

Zeke’s need for revenge and control take over and go is one intense character when he gives in to that side of himself.

We meet some new characters that have caught my eye and I’m excited to see where the next books take us!

❗❗Spoiler Alert ❗❗
If you not have read Bloodlust that is the first book. you should close this site because small spoilers will be told.

Bloodshed is the second book in Underground affliction Duet and is a Dark Mature romance, MFM/Menage book, that is about both Crime Gang and MC.
In Bloodlust, we got to follow Blade and her guy's POV but in Bloodshed, it changes over and we get to start following the story from Charli together with Zeke and Ash POV. But we also get some insight from Blade.

The Book starts there Bloodlust left us in a cliffhanger where Blade, Harley, and Charli get kidnapped into Peter's world of torture, abuse, and danger. It's was hard to see and not pretty to read. In the first chapters, we got to see how Charli that we have earlier got to know be the more reserved person in the gang and goes through a real change through the impacts of what she gets to go through.

She becomes more of a fighter and does everything to stay strong and sane. When she gets to know that even Blade is caught she does everything she can to come up with a plan to escape and protect her friend.
After action full escape things settle down for a while with the characters where they try to recovery and process what has happened.

Not only do we get to see a change in Charli we also get to see Zeke and Ash try to start a relationship in these complications.
After trying different things the boys realize they need to help the girls to heal and also they need to start working on taking their revenge on Peter and the Black diamond people that hurt them.

This book includes a very heavy story and writing but it has Good parts too that make you laugh, smile, even some smut scenes that can be satisfying to read.
I love this story and I love the characters.
What would have made this story even better if the ending was more of a bang and even more extreme now I feel it ended a little flat and empty.
It also would have been exciting to see is how they took down the last person of Black diamond

Then I also wished it was a POV from Blade and her guys to see how their relationship got through this.
So is was a little disappointed to not see any scenes with that.
Because my favorite characters were Blade, Alex, and Harley but I also understand that Charli, Zeke, and Ash story was needed to get told.

I am excited to see what Alex has to come in the future and it will be fun to continue to follow her journey as an author. Hopefully, in the future, we get to come back to the Underground affliction.

Bloodshed is the second book in the Underground Affliction series and picks up right where Bloodlust left off with a doozy of a cliffhanger—however Alex Denver knows how to work magic and gives us the beautifully bloody conclusion we were all dying to have so all is forgiven! If you’re a fan of dark, bloodthirsty, revenge and the wronged seeking vengeance…then this book is for you!

Bloodshed is a story of a Phoenix rising from the ashes to reclaim what she’s lost and who’s hell bent on a mission to destroy all of those that took from her—with no limits on what amounts of blood will be shed, skin sliced and bodies mangled along the way. No one is safe when the reaper comes calling, and this time? The reaper’s name is Charli…

And while yes, this is mainly Charli’s story of revenge and bloody retribution, she of course finally has her moments with Zeke and Ash—the two possessive and hot as hell alpha males that never leave her side from the moment she’s freed from hell. Their story was hinted about in Bloodlust and let me just say, the wait was well worth it! I love the warrior queen she’s become in this one that has no qualms about setting her men straight! Their chemistry was always off the charts, but now that they’re all on a path of bloodthirsty revenge, they’re possessive dominance knows no limits, so be prepared for lots of heat. 🔥

I loved seeing how their relationship evolved, as well as the tiny glimpses into Blade, Axel and Harleys life and those of the other side characters you’ve come to love in this series. The violence and torture that Blade and Charli endured was unimaginable, their pain and torment unbearable. Yet both fierce badass women DID survive, and the vengeance they sought after was beautiful.

Overall, if you’re a fan of the dark, deadly and utterly twisted then this book is definitely for you! This is a story of pure bloody revenge at its finest, as the evil vindictive men that once ravished the innocent get paid their dues when Charli and her family comes calling. One by one each man that did them wrong will fall, as they all hunt down the final one, the one that started it all, leaving us with a phenomenal conclusion! And truly, my only complaint with this story was that I needed more of Harley’s experience and Saint’s story!!! So Alex…is it too soon to ask for more? ;)

‼️ SPOILER ALERT ‼️
If you’ve not read Bloodlust, I suggest you close this page and go do that now. There is absolutely no way I can review Bloodshed without dropping some serious spoilers for book 1.

You have been warned.

Bloodshed is a very different book from its predecessor. The story moves over to Charli, the more reserved member of the Underground gang, along with Zeke and Ash. There are also a few chapters written from Blade’s point of view because it wouldn’t have been right to leave her out entirely. There’s a much more family-oriented feel to this book, with familiar characters hanging around more and new ones joining the gang.

At the end of the last book, things between Charli and Ash were complicated. They didn’t need to be, but for Charli they were complicated. There’s also something happening between her and Zeke. Blade could see it, even if Charli couldn’t.

Book two starts out where the first left off – with Charli and Blade in Peter’s clutches – and it is not pretty. In those first few chapters, we see a real change in Charli as she fights to stay sane in the face of the abuse she endures. Once she realises that Blade is also a captive, her inner strength and desire to protect her friend begins to emerge. After an explosive rescue (or should that be an escape?) things settle down in Underground as the characters take time to recover from their ordeal.

The downtime sees both Zeke and Ash pursuing a relationship with Charli while all three attempt to navigate the after-effects of her captivity. Both men take a very different approach but the varied focus is what she needs to help herself begin to heal and realise that she can indeed manage to have two boyfriends along with taking revenge on the Black Diamond people who hurt her.

Amongst some seriously heavy writing and triggers warnings that should not be ignored there are some brilliant moments of laughter including Charli’s amazement at what she calls Ash’s “cyborg cock.” There’s plenty of gratuitous violence and genius torture scenes along with two kickass women who refuse to let anybody beat them down.

For me, the difference between four and five stars was found in the final three chapters of the book. (Bear with me while I try not to drop any spoilers for the ending.) After the dramatic rescue of Charli and Blade at the beginning of the book, I was expecting more of a bang for the ending. The pace rises a little but the momentum fizzles out too soon. The final chapter and a half of the book offered one of the best scenes, but it felt flat when it ran into the ending. I can see that it would have been difficult to write it any other way, as the scene needed to be told and was essential for the story, but I needed more to get my heart pumping and keep it that way.

WHY YOU SHOULD READ BLOODSHED
* Full of inspiring healing and growth, dark romance style
* Two female heroines that really shouldn’t be messed with
* A fab demonstration of the power and love of the family we choose

Stephannie's 4 Star Review:
The first book left us with a big cliffhanger and this book gives us the conclusion.  There was a lot of Charli's POV and less of Blade and Harley's POV which I really wanted more of and was a tad disappointed that I didn't get more of them.

Charli's possible RH is Zeke and Ash which are both guys in the first book as supporting characters. Charli goes through a lot in this book and some of it is hard to read.  Charli changes after everything she goes through and Zeke has to change some of his over-protectiveness for their relationship to go anywhere.

Ash has a better understanding of what Charli needs and he a tough biker VP that is there for her in every way possible.
This is a very dark book that deals with the characters being taken and abused and how they deal with things afterward and also prevent it from happening again.

I really loved  Blade, Harley, and Axel's story and wanted more for their story. I did think it was very important to also learn about Charli, Zeke, and Ash. It was a great two-book series.

An Fantastically Epic Continuation Of Book 1!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review

Alex has done it again!!! What a freaking awesomely dark and bloody tale!! This picks up right where Bloodlust ended with Charlie being taken along with Blade and Harley. Tortured and abused our favorite characters rise above it and are twice as strong as they were before.

This is Charlie’s story this time around and she’s out for revenge and bloody retribution!!! Zeke and Ash are by her side from the moment she breathes in her freedom but quickly realize she’s not the same woman she was before. She’s stronger and has a need for revenge that rivals theirs. They know they need to step back a bit and let her be who she was born to be and love her with all they have while still being alpha protective. Seeing them grow together in this book is just absolutely amazing. Seeing how all the characters progress all together is actually fantastic.

I loved this book just as much as the first one and was not ready for it to end. So if you love your romance dark, broody, and bloody then yeah you definitely need this!! Another epic tale by Alex Denver!!! I hope she writes more of these characters with stories of side characters. 100% recommend this Book and Book 1 Bloodlust!!

Ma’am!! Okay I see you… You went ahead with that debut novel Bloodlust and said hold my beer let me go ahead and top that with Bloodshed. This book picks up right where we leave off in book one and it is non-stop from that moment on. Let me tell you our girl Charli has got some balls of steel something we didn’t get to see in book 1 but shined bright in book 2. She really came out swinging in all her blood soaked glory. Ashe and Zeke are completely perfect for Charli even while she was a bit hesitant they both never gave up and showed her exactly how good they are for one another. This baby right here was angsty, emotional, a huge freaking roller coaster ride that had you hanging on for dear life because you never knew what was going to pop out from around the corner. We also got to meet some new characters that I am hoping will get their own stories or we get to learn more about them in the future. Fantastic Read.

Freaking Phenomenal!

WOW! What an outstanding conclusion! I was utterly blown away, completely captivated and on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The intensity has been kicked up, it’s darker, grittier, bloodier, more violent and I craved every second of it.

Charli is one hell of a kickass woman. She’s fierce, strong and is not afraid of showing everyone that she has balls of steel! Zeke and Ash are perfect for her. They know just when she needs them and when they should let Charli be Charli. Their relationship is emotional, intense and utterly explosive. Be ready to have your panties obliterated when they are together!

Another brilliantly written story with amazing characters that are slightly unhinged and definitely damaged, and with a storyline that will have you gripping your kindle tightly, biting your nails and then needing a cold shower to cool off (or bringing out your B.O.B for some one on one play time).

I can’t wait to see what this amazing author brings us next.

Revenge served cold.

Bloodlust ended in one hell of cliffhanger which left the fate of Charli and Blade unknown. This book picks up right after and it starts off very emotional and painful as the two are subjected to horrors from their old abuser.

In this book. Charli is the main focus and we find out she is no shrinking Violet and is quite handy with tools of torture when exacting revenge. Zeke and Ash are there by her side but have to learn that she needs to do things on her terms.

Expect lots of steam between the three and a pulse pounding thriller. Can’t wait for other side characters to get their stories in the coming year. Saint and Justice especially who stood out.

* I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Alex Denver writes captivating stories! I was so impressed with her first book (her debut album might I add) and I didn’t know where she was gonna go with part 2. All I can say is WOW! She did not disappoint. Charli really comes out of her shell in this book. I always knew she had a fighter’s spirit, but dang, this girl is strong! She goes through hell and still comes out on top! Plus her relationship with Zeke and Ash is off the hook! Those men are so possessive and it makes me swoon! I highly recommend picking up these books and giving them a read, but DEFINITELY heed the trigger warnings! It is DARK! And bad stuff happens, but the HEA is worth it.

Bloodshed is part 2 of Underground Affliction and needs to be read after Bloodlust. Bloodshed picks up where Bloodlust left off. Blade and Charli are in captivity, we don't know what happened to Harley. Make sure you heed the trigger warnings, the first few chapters of this book has graphic sexual violence. For the most part this book is told from Charli's, Ash and Zeke's perspective. Where the first book focused on Blade getting together with Axe and Harley, this one shifted to Charlie navigating her relationships with Zeke and Ash as well as her recovery and vengeance. Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was a satisfying conclusion to the events of Charli, Zeke and Blade's past.

***You must read Bloodlust BEFORE reading Bloodshed!!***

Trying to review without spoilers…so excuse the brevity.

Bloodshed picks up right where Bloodlust left us, though now we are getting the story more from Charli’s point of view. In Bloodshed, we get to see Charli’s evolution under Peter’s abuse and see her strength when she finds out about a particular person’s capture. I think that this change was necessary for her relationship with Ashe and Zeke to really work. This is a highly emotional and intense story that kept me hooked from the get-go.

I am hoping that we get to see some of the side characters get their own stories!!

Oh the emotions!! I literally cried in the first few chapters. And the shower scene between Blade and Charli, I lost it and had tears in my eyes. Their pain and suffering is heartbreaking.

I love this story so much and to see Charli grow from her recent life events was awesome!! She was already a badass but this book just proved it.

I don’t want to give too much away. If you are a fan of Bloodlust, you will love Bloodshed! And the spice is so good!!

Alex Denver you have made me a forever fan of yours and I’m excited to read Reaper’s Affliction series as it releases.

Yessss. Alex Denver has done it again. I loved this story! Bloodshed picks up where Bloodlust left off. I loved Charli, her character was a favorite of mine from the first book. And of course Blade and Zeke are amazing as well. I also enjoy Ash’s character for the person that he is he surprisingly has a soft side for Charli. This story is a angsty, emotional page turner that will have you on edge till the very end. I loved this book and you definitely need it on your shelf. Can’t wait to see what is in store for us next from Alex, she is a amazing writer that does not disappoint!

Bloodlust is a dark revenge thrill ride. This is Charli's awakening. You see her grow and become the women she was always meant to be. Zeke and Ashton realize how much they need to allow Charlie to be who she was born to be. Alex takes on a roller-coaster of emotions, violence and revenge in Bloodshed. The characters develop as the series goes on. The hurt that Charlie, Blade and Zeke go through transforms and transcends into an epic tale!!!!!!! Alex Denver is definitely a dark author thar keeps you wanting more.

More blood, more gore

If you’ve read the first book, then you already know it’s not for everyone. There is definitely more blood and gore in this second book. This book focuses more on Charli and Zeke as well as Ash. The book picks up where it ends from book 1.

Vengeance is high and it’s bloody gory. I took one star off because I felt that the story could have been told without soooo much of the gore and more about how the victims dealt with their trauma and how it affected their relationships.

In the end it was a happy and justified ending, so there is that. Just be warned about the violence, if you plan on reading.

I dont even know where to start. After being left with not knowing from part 1, I couldn't stop myself from falling head first into part 2.

Where start straight back off where we left in the most heart breaking way. Alex has captured the dark and depraved hidden world, that you only dream about in your nightmares. She was able to turn my blood cold and make my skin crawl with just a few sentences.

My heart was taken on a roller coaster of emotions and this story knew how to hit every bump along the way.

Once you enter the brutal world of the Underground, you may never want to leave.

Bloodshed follows up where Bloodlust left off, with Charli and Blade held captive by Peter. With an epic rescue, the two are back, and the story shifts to focus on Charli, and the two men pursuing her, Zeke and Ash.

I loved Charli's relationship with both Zeke and Ash and the way the three decided to make things work. I definitely enjoyed their scenes together and the author did a great job in writing characters that fit well together.

The writing was great, and while the pacing was a little slow, the book was a page turner that never lost my attention.

This is one of the gutsiest, brutal, demented, painful, emotional books I have read. This is the continuation of main characters Charli, Zeke and Blade. It also includes Axe and Harley. A demented psycho Peter has all on high alert. Unfortunately, Peter gets his victims and the team is hot on the trail to rescue. What they found on the way is nothing short of sick. THIS IS NOT FOR THE LIGHTHEARTED. Gruesome and horrific. A inspiration of survival and hope for those who were forced down a path not of their choosing.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Action-packed
Great world building
Haunting
Informative
Inspirational
Original
Page-turner
Realistic
Scary
Steamy
Tragic
Twisted
Unpredictable
Wonderful characters

Amazing!!! A perfect end to Blade, Zeke and Charli. So excited for what's to come!!!
Just because its changed from Blade's point of view, doesn't mean it's any less dark, twisted or amazing. You get to see it all from other characters and it's very well written!
Couldn't stop reading and should definitely be on your TBR!!!

Great read

A fabulous ending to this duet. The first book is Blade's and second is Charli's but they intertwine beautifully. This is a dark and violent read but not over the top. The revenge was excellent. I loved all the relationships both love and friendship. Lots of twists, suspense, action and spicey scenes. Great read. Looking forward to the spin-off series!

I was so desperate for this book after I read the first one. It didn't disappoint. It delivered in spades. The characters are so well written, and intense, and watching them evolve, from their experiences, is just mesmerising. I want so many more books featuring these characters, and can't wait for the MC books next! Brilliant, just brilliant!

best revenge book ever

Have you ever secretly wanted to go all vigilante on some @ss4ole for harming children? — if so, then you will LOVE this revenge story. However, note that this is a dark romance, and readers will have to be okay with the “ick” to get to the “oh yeah, beat that mthrfckr to death” part. So read those warnings before purchase this love story.

AMAZING

This is the second book I have read from this author and I cannot WAIT to read more. The rough life these three had is unimaginable. And then for two of them to be kidnapped and run though the same thing again is even worse. This is a dark book (not in my opinion but in others) so please be careful when reading if you have triggers.

Okay I’m late for my ARC review on this because #covid so @authoralexdenver forgive me I promise I’m a better reader usually.

However this book (chefs kiss) it was just as good as book 1. Picks up right where Bloodlust left us.

The underground girls are TOUGH. Like this whole book i was blown away by their resilience and the way they processed their trauma.

I’m glad they have their men but really they could of done it all on their own with just each other.

The torture ooo it gets my dark side going I’m worried for my mental health enjoying it so much 😂

I’m pumped to read the MC guys stories!
